She is killed when Buffy dismembers her arm, which causes the glove to fire lightening down from the sky, killing the fake watcher.

		name: MOO (Mothers Opposed to the Occult) episode: Gingerbread details: When Joyce discovers the murdered children, she, along with Willow's mother and other Sunnydale residents, start a group that is against witchcraft, which they believe was used to kill. They blame Buffy and Willow for the deaths and try to burn them at the stake.
